SET exam date announcement: Good news for job seekers. The State Eligibility Test (SET) exam date has been announced by WBCSC. The West Bengal College Service Commission has announced the date. The commission has issued a notification in this regard. However, the notification regarding when the application process will start has not been published yet.
According to the notification, this is the 27th exam. The exam will be held from 10:30 am to 2 pm on Sunday. Candidates will have to complete the application process to appear for the exam once the detailed notification is published. Those who have passed the postgraduate level with 55 percent or more marks. However, there is no upper age limit for applying.
The exam is conducted in two sessions in two papers in Bengali, English, Library Science, Physics and other subjects. The first session exam is completed in one hour and the second session exam is completed in two hours. The first paper is of 100 marks and the second paper is of 200 marks.
Incidentally, the results of the 26th State Eligibility Test or SET exam were published a few days ago. The results of SET were published within seven weeks of the exam. More than three thousand candidates have passed the SET exam. A total of 58,867 candidates took the exam. Out of them, 3282 candidates passed. Successful candidates will receive certificates from the first week of March.
