Police Recruitment: Good news for job aspirants. Odisha Police has extended the last date to apply for Sepoy/Constable Recruitment 2024. Candidates can apply for 1,360 vacancies till October 30. Earlier the application deadline was 13 October.
In the official notification, the State Selection Board (SSB) Odisha said that the application deadline has been extended due to Puja holidays.
The board said that the edit/correction window will open after the registration window closes and details will be shared later.
A candidate can apply under only one battalion and the option cannot be changed later, SSB Odisha said.
Eligibility Criteria for Odisha Police Constable Recruitment 2024
Candidates must be at least 18 years to 23 years of age as on January 1, 2024. Upper age limit is relaxable for reserved category candidates.
Candidates must have Class 10 (Matriculation) qualification or its equivalent to apply for the post of Constable / Sepoy. Odia must be a subject in the matriculation examination.
Candidates should be Indian citizens of good character and good health, free from organic defects and physical deformities.
Selection process
Candidates will be selected in four stages: a computer-based recruitment test (CBRE), a measurement of physical standards and physical skills, a driving test and a medical test.
100 marks placement test will have 100 questions. The duration of the exam will be two hours.
The questions will be objective-type and will have multiple choice with negative marking (0.25 marks) for wrong answers. No marks will be deducted for unattempted questions. For more details, candidates can visit the official website of the board.
