Assistant professor recruitment: good news for job aspirants. Delhi University will be recruiting Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor posts in various departments. Notification has been published for this. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the post through website (du.ac.in). The online application process will run from October 9 to October 24, 2024.
The target in this recruitment process is to fill up 574 faculty posts. Which includes 145 posts for Professor, 313 posts for Associate Professor and 116 posts for Assistant Professor.
Professor
Must have PhD in related subject.
Must have 10 years working experience in any university or recognized institution
Basic 10 publications in reputed journals are a must.
Associate Professor
Must have PhD in related subject.
Should have 8 years of teaching/research experience in a university or recognized institution.
Basic 7 publications in reputed journals are a must.
Assistant Professor
Candidates must have Master's degree in related subject with minimum 55%. Net/set required.
Selection process
A screening committee will prepare the list of candidates. Candidates must have minimum 65 marks to qualify for the list. SC/ST/PWBD candidates will get 5 marks relaxation.
A list of 30 candidates will be released for one vacancy. 10 additional candidates will be called for each additional vacancy. Please visit the official website for details on this.
Application fee
General category candidates have to pay application fee of Rs.2000 while applying for this post. OBC, EWS and Female candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs.1500. 1000 for SC/ST candidates and 500 for PWD candidates.
