Army School Teacher Jobs: Teachers will be recruited in Army Public Schools i.e. APS. This has been notified. Applications are invited for TGT/PGT and PRT teachers in these schools. Although the Supreme Court has declared B.Ed degree invalid for primary teacher recruitment, B.Ed holders can apply for primary teacher recruitment in Army Public Schools.
What is the whole thing?
The petition regarding recognition of B.Ed in primary school teacher recruitment was rejected by the Supreme Court on 11 August 2023, after which B.Ed candidates could not apply for primary school teacher recruitment, but Army Public Schools accepted B.Ed for primary. But they have to take the bridge course after the recruitment. There will be an Online Screening Test (OST) for the candidates for teacher recruitment.
When will applications be accepted?
The application for these posts has started from September 10 on the Army Welfare Education Society website. Applications for online screening test will be open till 25th October. The online exam will be held on November 23 and 24. Online screening test will be held in 41 cities of the country for recruitment to Army Public Schools. These include the cities of Prayagraj, Kanpur, Agra, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Kolkata etc.
How much will the application fee cost?
For Army Public School Teacher Recruitment, general OBC candidates have to pay a fee of Rs.385. Army School Recruitment for PRT, TGT, PGT Posts. Fresh candidates applying for these posts should be less than 40 years of age, similarly, those with work experience up to 5 years of age will be exempted.
