SSC GD RECRUITMENT: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will recruit more than 39,000 candidates for Constable GD posts. The application process for this will continue till October 14, 2024. The computer-based written test for this recruitment drive will be held between January and February 2025.
Available posts include Constable GD in CAPF, SSF, Rifleman in Assam Rifles and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau. Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) will be recruited in units like BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSB, NIA and Assam Rifles.
How to Apply for SSC Constable Recruitment 2025
To apply for SSC Constable GD (General Duty) Recruitment 2025, follow these steps:
1. Visit official SSC website
Visit the official website of Staff Selection Commission (SSC): ssc.nic.in.
2. Register as a new user
If you are a first-time applicant, you need to register by clicking the "Register as New User" link on the homepage.
Fill the required details like your name, date of birth, email id, mobile number etc.
After completing the registration process you will receive an SSC Registration ID and Password on your registered email/mobile.
3. Log in
After registration, use SSC Registration ID and Password to log into your account.
4. Find SSC GD Constable Application Link
Once logged in, go to the "Recent Notifications" section of the dashboard.
Check SSC GD Constable 2025 Recruitment Notification and click on “Apply” link.
5. Fill the application form
Fill the application form by entering your details, educational qualification and preferences.
Upload scanned copy of your passport size photograph and signature as per the specifications mentioned in the notification.
6. Pay the application fee
Application fee is generally INR 100 for general and OBC candidates. SC/ST, women and ex-servicemen are exempted from fee.
You can pay the fee offline through Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card or SBI Challan.
7. Submit the application
After filling all the details and making the payment, review the application form and click on “Submit”.
8. Download and print the application
Once submitted, download and take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.
Application fee
Applicants have to deposit an application fee of Rs.100, but female candidates, Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Ex-Servicemen (ESM) and other reserved categories are exempted from paying the fee.
Educational qualification is required
To be eligible for the examination, candidates must have passed their matriculation or 10th-class examination from a recognized board or university by the deadline of January 1, 2025. Additionally, candidates should be between 18 to 23 years of age as on January 1, 2025. 2025.
