Assistant Professor: Four years after the notification, finally 1,001 people are being appointed to the post of Assistant Professor

Assistant Professor Recruitment: After four years of notification, finally on Thursday, the Karnataka government has issued the appointment order for the candidates selected for the post of assistant professor (assistant professor recruitment) in government first class degree colleges.


Orders have been issued for the appointment of 1,001 candidates on Teachers' Day, who have not been caught up in the legal battle.  The higher education department had released the recruitment notification for 1,242 assistant professors in the academic year 2020-21.  Although the Karnataka Examinations Authority conducted the exam for the recruitment and announced the results, the process was put on hold due to legal battles.


A candidate who received the order said, "Due to the delay in getting the recruitment order, I lost three years. Considering my age, I have only 18 years of service."


Higher Education Minister Dr M C Sudhakar has assured to issue appointment orders for those shortlisted for the post of principals in 310 government degree colleges by December. 


In an event, CM Siddaramaiah asked teachers to stop believing in fate and karma and instead inculcate human values ​​and scientific temperament in children.


School Education and Literacy Minister Madhu Bangarappa announced during the event that the government, in collaboration with the Azim Premji Foundation, has decided to serve eggs to students from classes 1 to 10 six days a week.  The program will launch on September 15 or 20.


Department of Collegiate Education, Government of Karnataka has issued recruitment order for selected candidates for the post of Assistant Professor in Government First-Class Colleges.  Candidates are required to report for duty within 15 days of receipt of their orders.
