WBCSC SET Exam Notification Out By West Bengal College Service Commission

SET Exam: 26 State Eligibility Test or SET (SET 2022) exam notification has been published.  The exam will be held on 15th December, 2024.   West Bengal College Service Commission or WBCSC for short has announced this date.   Detailed information about application dates will be announced soon.   

The State Eligibility Test (SET) will be held on December 15, 2024 (Sunday) to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for the qualification of Assistant Professor in West Bengal only.   WBCSC will conduct SET in 33 subjects at selected examination centers in various districts.

Reservation

There is reservation for SC 22%, ST 6%, OBC-A (NCL) 10%, OBC-B (NCL) 7%, EWS 10% and 4% for PWD candidates5 in case of West Bengal residents. 

Application fee

Eligible and interested candidates have to deposit Rs.1200 as application fee.  But OBC candidates have to pay 600 rupees and others 300 rupees. 

Test procedure

Examination will be conducted in two shifts.  First shift from 9.30 am to 10.30 pm, second shift from 11 am to 1 pm.  Questions will be asked following multiple answer format.  A total of two papers will be examined.  Total marks are 300.
