WBSSC Head Teacher Recruitment: Very good news for head teacher aspirants. The state has decided to recruit thousands of head teachers across the state. New recruitment rules are also being prepared to avoid controversy.
According to the West Bengal School Education Department, there are about four to five thousand vacancies for the posts of head teachers and teachers in various secondary and higher secondary schools.  Those positions will be appointed now.
The recruitment rules have already been finalized. It has been sent to Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for approval. Such news has been received from Navanna sources. The State School Education Department wants to recruit about 5000 vacancies of Head Teacher – Headmistress in the state.
This year there are several new rules for recruitment. In addition to conducting tests on OMR sheets, there will also be a reservation policy for head teachers. The rules for the appointment of head teachers will be submitted to the state cabinet after the Chief Minister gives final approval. Before this, the last time the head teacher was appointed through SSC was in 2017.
