Assistant Professor Recruitment: Good news for job aspirants. Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) will recruit 536 posts of Assistant Professor in Government Colleges. Department of Higher Education has sent a request for recruitment. On the other hand, the Directorate of Higher Education has sent a request to the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission, for the recruitment of non-teaching staff under Group-C.

UPPSC and UPSSSC may soon issue advertisement for the recruitment of Assistant Professor and Group-C posts. The Department of Higher Education has sent a request to the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission for the vacant post of Assistant Professor in two phases. Out of which there will be 384 posts in the first phase and 152 posts in the second phase.
Marks obtained in Interview
Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has received a request for the recruitment of Assistant Professors in Government Colleges. However, the commission is awaiting the approval of the screening test rules from the government level for publication of advertisements. Direct recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor. But earlier candidates were selected only on the basis of marks obtained in the interview. In the new system, the screening test marks will also be included in the selection of candidates. 75 percent marks in the screening test and 25 percent marks in the interview will be combined to make the selection merit. The Commission will issue its advertisement as soon as the proposed rules for screening tests are approved.
Recruitment to 23 Group-C posts
A request has been sent to the Subordinate Services Selection Commission for recruitment to 23 Group C posts. This includes 6 posts of Steno and 17 posts of Junior Assistant. At the same time, a request has been sent to the Subordinate Services Selection Commission for the recruitment of 52 Junior Assistant posts under Group-C. Out of these 22 posts are unreserved, 12 posts are reserved for Other Backward Classes, 10 posts are for Scheduled Castes, 4 posts are reserved for Scheduled Tribes and four posts are reserved for Economically Weaker Sections.
