Recruitment of 1339 vacancies for the post of Assistant Professor has been suspended

WBSSC: Bad news for job seekers.  The recruitment process for the post of assistant professor has been suspended.  The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has stopped the recruitment process for the post of Assistant Professor in Medical Colleges and Hospitals in the Health Department with immediate effect.  Details about the reason for the closure are not known. 

The last date of application under this was July 26.  In this recruitment process, 1339 assistant professors were to be appointed in 23 departments.  Applications were invited for this.   But it has been decided to stop this recruitment process immediately by issuing a notification on Tuesday.  

However, it is not yet clear whether the candidates who applied for the recruitment will be refunded the fee or the recruitment process will be started afresh.   Candidates are requested to visit https://www.bpsc.bih.nic.in/ for details on this subject.
