GDS Recruitment: Good news for job aspirants. India Post has released a notification for the recruitment of 44,228 Grameen Dak Sevaks (GDS). According to the notification, Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, North East, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand And Rural Postal Service will be appointed in West Bengal.
Application has started today, 15th July at official website indiapostgdsonline.gov.in. Application fee is Rs. Selection for Gramin Dak Sevak post will be based on 10th class result.
India Post GDS Recruitment 2024: Who Can Apply?
Candidates who have passed class 10 with compulsory Mathematics and English can apply for the posts. Additionally, they must know how to ride a bicycle. Age should be between 18 to 40 years.  Maximum age relaxation will be given to reserved category candidates.

Step 1 - Visit the official website at indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.
Step 2 – Click on the India Post Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) Recruitment 2024 link.
Step 3 – Complete the Registration Fee.
Step 4 - Upload the required documents.
Step 5 – Fill and submit the application form with required details.
Step 6 – Download the application form and take a printout of the acknowledgment form for future purposes.
Applicants must have a valid email id and mobile number.  Applicants must be present at the time of document verification along with all the required documents.  The fee, once paid, will not be refunded in any way.
India Post GDS Recruitment 2024: Salary Details
There are two posts in Gramin Dak Sevak recruitment — Assistant Branch Postmaster and Branch Postmaster. The pay scale of Assistant Branch Postmaster is between Rs.10,000 to Rs.24,470.  While the pay scale of Branch Postmaster is between Rs.12,000 to Rs.29,380.  Those selected for the Chowkidar post will get a monthly salary of Rs.20,000.
