Teacher Recruitment Notification: Applications are invited for the post of Guest Teachers in English (2), Ancient Indian & World History, Bengali and Mathematics at Siksha-Satra, Visva-Bharati, Sriniketan.
Applicants will submit applications on plain paper stating qualifications etc. along with self-attested copies of mark-sheets (both side) and certificates. Contact no. & e-mail Id must be mentioned in the application form. One passport size photograph of the applicant is to be affixed to the application. Application should reach the office of the Principal on or before 28th June 2024.
List of candidates selected for the interview will be notified on Visva-Bharati website. No separate call letter will be issued. The date of interview will be intimated accordingly.

Education Qualification
(a) (i) Master Degree in the respective subject from a recognized University / Institution with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
(ii) For the post of Ancient Indian & World History: Master degree in AIHCA from a recognized University /Institution with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
(iii) B.Ed or equivalent degree in with respective method subject from a a recognized University.
(b) Pass the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (Upper Primary Level) (CTET) conducted by the CBSE in accordance with the Guideline framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
OR
Teacher Eligibility Test (Upper Primary Level) conducted by the various states.
(c) Working knowledge in Bengali / English / Hindi.
(d) Maximum age limit 35 years
Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of Computer Applications.
Remuneration of a Guest Teacher – Maximum Rs. 12000/- (Twelve thousand) per month for taking at least 80 (eighty) periods per month.
