Recruitment Notification: Bihar State Health Society (SHS) has released notification for the recruitment of Community Health Officer (CHO) in the state on June 19, 2024. Candidates can apply for these posts soon. Interested and eligible candidates can apply from 1st July at official website- shs.bihar.gov.in. Application deadline is July 27, 2024.
Educational qualification
Candidates applying for these posts should possess B.Sc Nursing/Post Basic Nursing degree from a recognized institute or university.
Age
Candidates applying for these posts should be between 21 years to 47 years. Age relaxation will be given to reserved category candidates.
Description of vacancy
As per the official notification, 4500 posts of Community Health Officer will be filled through this recruitment drive. Out of which 1345 posts for EBC, 331 posts for EBC (Female), 702 for BC, 259 posts for BC (Female), 1279 for SC, 230 for SC (Female), 95 for ST, ST (Female), including EWS includes 36 posts of EWS, 145 posts of EWS and 78 posts of EWS (Female).
Salary
40,000 monthly salary will be paid to the selected candidates for these posts. Of this, Rs 32,000 per month is admissible as fixed remuneration and the remaining Rs 8,000 is to be paid as performance linked payment.
Selection process
Candidates will be shortlisted for interview and further process based on their application. Once shortlisted, candidates have to prove the validity of their claim through document verification process.
Application Fee
General/OBC/EWS category candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs.500/-. Whereas SC/ST/PH and female candidates of all categories have to pay an application fee of Rs.250.
