Vacancy

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Committee will now recruit Officers and Multipurpose Office Assistants for Scale 1, 2 and 3 for Grameen Bank.  A total of 9995 vacancies will be filled.

 Officer Scale II (Agriculture Officer) – 70

 Officer Scale 2 (Marketing Officer)- 11

 Officer Scale II (Treasury Manager)- 21

 Officer Scale 2 (L)- 30 marks

 Officer Scale II (CA) – 60 t

 Officer Scale II (IT) – 94

 Officer Scale II (General Banking Officer) – 496

Recruitment process

Candidates will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in the written test.  For all the posts except Officer Scale 2 and 3, the examination will be conducted in two stages.

Important Dates

Registration for IBPS Officer and Office Assistant posts will start today from 7th June.  The form can be filled up to June 27. 

Age limit

Age of applied job candidates will be calculated as on 1st June 2024.  Upper age limit for Officer Scale 3 is 40 years.  On the other hand for officer scale 2 candidate age should be between 21 to 32.  Candidates age for Officer Scale 1 should be between 18 to 30.  Candidate age limit for office assistant should be between 18 to 28 years.  Reserved candidates will get age relaxation as per government rules.

Educational qualification

Candidates applying for the posts of Office Assistant (Multipurpose), Officer Scale 1 (Assistant Manager), Officer Scale 2 (General Banking Officer Manager) and Officer Scale 3 (Senior Manager) must have passed graduation from any recognized University.  Other posts require specific stream qualification.

Application Fee

Unreserved and OBC candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs.850 to apply for this said post.  On the other hand SC, ST and disabled candidates have to pay Tk 175.
