BED Case Supreme Court: A case is going on in the Supreme Court, the highest court of the country, about what will happen to the candidates who were initially appointed as primary teachers through BED. In view of a Madhya Pradesh case, the case is going on in the bench of Hon'ble Supreme Court Hon'ble Justices Anirudh Bose and Sudhanshu Dhulia.
The Supreme Court gave an important order in this case. The Supreme Court has asked to know how many vacant posts there are according to the notification given or notifications given from 2023 to 2025 for the recruitment of primary teachers in different states of the country. The Supreme Court asked about the number of vacancies advertised in 2023-2024 and the number of vacancies that may be issued in 2024-2025 for the recruitment of primary teachers in all states of the country.
The apex court sought to know whether the bridge course was in place to make the B.D. trained teachers at par with the DELED candidates appointed before the Supreme Court's judgment in Debesh Sharma vs. Indian Union dated 11th August, 2023.
