National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC)

Recruitment Notification: National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC) is one of the primary centres of Indian  Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Department of Space. NRSC has the mandate for establishment of ground stations for receiving satellite data, generation of data products, dissemination to the users, development of techniques for remote sensing applications including disaster management support, geospatial services for good governance and capacity building for professionals, faculty and students. NRSC operates through multiple campuses to meet national and regional remote sensing data and applications needs of the country.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :

1) M.E./M.Tech with an aggregate minimum of 60% or CGPA/CPI grading 6.5 on a 10 Point scale.

2) M.Sc with an aggregate minimum of 65% (average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading 6.84 on a 10 Point scale.

3) B.Scwith 60% marks or CGPA of 6.5 on a 10 point Scale.

SELECTION PROCESS :

1) The qualification prescribed is the minimum requirement and possession of the same doesn’t automatically make the candidates eligible to be called for interview. NRSC reserves right to screen the applications received for the posts based on the given eligibility criteria and may also fix such criteria as it may consider necessary for shortlisting the candidates for interview.

2) In the event of large number of applications received for a particular post, NRSC may conduct a Written Test at Hyderabad for shortlisting the candidates. This is only for the purpose of screening/shortlisting the candidates. However, the marks obtained in the Written Test will not be taken into account for final selection process. Final selection will be purely based on performance in the Interview.


HOW TO APPLY :

1) Applications will be received on-line only.

2) The applications for on-line registration will be accepted in NRSC website (https://www.nrsc.gov.in/Career_Apply) from 18.03.2024 (1200 hours) to 08.04.2024 (1700 hours).

3) Upon registration, applicants will be provided with an on-line Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference. E-mail ID and Mobile Number of the applicant are to be furnished in the application correctly and compulsorily.

All further communications to the candidate shall be through his / her registered e-mail ID / NRSC website only.  The candidates are advised to check their e-mail (including spam/ junk folders) regularly and visit NRSC website from time to time for updates. NRSC will not be responsible for non-receipt of any intimation sent/provided as afore-said, and no representation on the matter will be entertained.
