Recruitment Notification: March 2024 brings good news for government job aspirants. This month, several recruitment agencies under the central and state governments are accepting applications for a large number of vacancies - from teachers and office workers to police constables. Below is a compilation of government jobs to apply for this month –
Police Constable Jobs
In West Bengal, the Police Recruitment Board (WBPRB) has launched a mega recruitment drive for 11,749 constable vacancies. Eligible and interested candidates can submit their form at prb.wb.gov.in.
Punjab Police Recruitment Board has also invited applications for 1746 Constable Vacancies in District and Armed Corps of Punjab Police. Application will be open from 14 March to 4 April, official website is punjabpolice.gov.in.
Jobs in UP Metro
Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited (UPMRCL) will start the application process for 439 vacancies of Assistant Manager and other posts on March 20. Last date for submission of application form at lmrcl.com is 19th April.
UKPSC Scalar Vacancy 2024
Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC) is accepting online applications for 200 scalar posts in Uttarakhand Forest Development Corporation. Candidates between 18 and 28 years of age who possess the requisite educational qualification can apply at sssc.uk.gov.in till April 8.
Recruitment of teaching and non-teaching staff
Various State Government Departments are accepting applications for teaching and non-teaching vacancies –
In Uttarakhand, UKSSSC will accept online applications for 1,544 Assistant Teacher Posts between 22 March to 12 April. Interested candidates can apply at sssc.uk.gov.in
In Odisha, the State Selection Board (SSB) will start the application process for the post of lecturers from March 20 to April 19. Eligible candidates can submit form for 786 vacancies at ssbodisha.ac.in.
Meanwhile, the Odisha Sub-ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) will start the application process from April 1 for 2,629 teacher vacancies.
Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) is also accepting applications for 385 Assistant Professor vacancies. The last date to apply for it at opsc.gov.in is 16 April.
In Tamil Nadu, the Teachers Recruitment Board (TN TRB) has released a notification for 4,000 Assistant Professor vacancies in government colleges, for which registrations will start from March 28. Interested candidates can check eligibility and other details here
Online application process for 11,062 teacher vacancies under Commissioner of School Education, Telangana is on, and application deadline is April 2. Applications for TS DSC Teacher Recruitment 2024 can be submitted online at schooledu.telangana.gov.in.
Allahabad University has invited applications for 305 Non-Teaching Posts. Eligible candidates can apply at allduniv.ac. Until April 1, 2024.

National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC) has advertised 269 Trainee Engineer / Trainee Officer vacancies for candidates qualified in Graduate Eligibility Test or GATE 2023 in Engineering.
Pharmacist, Nurse, Lab Technician Vacancy in DSSSB
Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) will open the application process for 414 Lab Technicians, Pharmacists, Auxiliary Nurse Midwives (ANMs) and other vacancies on March 21. Applications can be submitted till April 19 at dsssb.delhi.gov.in.
Bank job
In banking sector, a great opportunity is waiting for job aspirants. Indian Bank is accepting applications for 146 Specialist Officer (SO) Vacancies. Application deadline is 1 April. Interested candidates can apply at indianbank.in.
Peon, Personal Assistant Jobs under DSSSB and UPSC
Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) will start recruitment drive from March 20 for the posts of Process Server and Peon/Orderly/Doc Peon. Aspirants can apply till April 18 for 102 vacancies at dsssb.delhi.gov.in.
Meanwhile, Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited applications for the post of Personal Assistant in Employees' Provident Fund Organization (EPFO). Applications for 323 vacancies can be submitted till March 27 at upsc.gov.in.
Jobs in Indian Railways
Indian Railway Recruitment Board (RRBs) is accepting applications for Technician Vacancies in Indian Railways. Eligible candidates can apply for 9,144 vacancies on the respective RRB website till March 9.
