Head Teacher Recruitment: Good news for job seekers. BPSC has released the recruitment notification for more than 46 thousand vacancies. The application process starts from today. Through this recruitment notification 6,061 head teachers under education department and SC & ST welfare department and 40,247 head teacher vacancies in primary schools under education department of Government of Bihar will be filled.
Interested and eligible candidates can submit their application at www.bpsc.bih.nic.in till April 2, 2024. Along with the notification, BPSC has also released Syllabus PDF for both Head Teacher and Head Teacher posts.
Age
Candidate age to apply online for BPSC Head Teacher post should be 31-47 years while upper age limit to apply online for Head Teacher is 60 years.
Apart from age limit, the following eligibility criteria will be fulfilled by the candidates
● Candidate must have Graduation degree with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized University.
● Candidate must have completed D.El.Ed/B.T/B.Ed./B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed./B.L.Ed and cleared Teachers Eligibility Test.
● 8 years of teaching experience as a Secondary Teacher in a State Government School, OR 12 years of teaching experience as a Secondary Teacher in a school permanently affiliated to CBSE/ACSE/BSEB.

Bihar Teacher Recruitment 2024: Selection Process
Bihar Teacher recruitment selection process will be in the following stages –
Written Test – Candidates must appear for a written test with 150 MCQ-type questions on General Knowledge and BED subjects.
Document Verification – Eligible candidates have to go through document verification process where they have to produce all the original documents to prove their eligibility.
Medical Examination – Final selection is made after a medical examination of eligible candidates.
