Application Started: Recruitment for 4 thousand vacancies of Assistant Professor

Assistant Professor Recruitment: The Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board (TN TRB) has released a notification for the direct recruitment of Assistant Professors in the Tamil Nadu Collegiate Educational Service. With 4,000 vacancies up for grabs across government Arts, Science and Education colleges. Application process  started from March 28. Eligible candidates can apply.

Candidates are advised to review the subjectwise list of vacancies and corresponding educational qualifications outlined in the official recruitment notification.

SELECTION PROCESS :

• Written Examination: Consisting of two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2, totalling 200 marks. Paper 1 focuses on Tamil Language, General Knowledge (especially Current Affairs) and subject specific topics. Paper 2 includes subject specific questions.

• Interview Round: Carrying 30 marks, candidates are shortlisted based on their performance in the written examination. Candidates must achieve a minimum of 40% marks (30% for reserved categories) to qualify for further rounds.
