Teacher Recruitment: The Tamil Nadu Teacher Recruitment Board (TN TRB) has started the recruitment process for 1,768 Secondary Grade Teacher (SGT) vacancies. The application process has started from 14 February. You can apply from the official website trb.tn.gov.in.

The OMR based written test will be conducted on June 23.
Age limit
Upper age limit for general category candidates for recruitment is 53 years as on first day of July of recruitment year (2024).
Application fee
Application fee for SC, SCA, ST and PWD candidates is Rs.300. Others application fee is Rs.600.
Recruitment Test
The recruitment test will have two parts. Part A is a compulsory Tamil Language Aptitude Test (Objective Type, OMR based) and Part B is Main Subject (Objective Type) test.
In Part A, 30 questions are to be answered in 30 minutes. (Total marks in Part A examination are 50, out of which candidates must secure at least 20 marks (40 percent) to qualify.)
Part B will consist of 150 questions, to be answered in 3 hours. The maximum marks in this section will be 150 and candidates of general category should get at least 40 percent or 60 marks. BC, BCM, MBC/DNC, SC, SCA and ST candidates should score at least 45 marks (30 percent).
