Staff will be recruited in the Panchayat offices in West Bengal. Staff will be recruited for Clerk, Assistant and other posts. Staff will be recruited in Panchayat Samiti and Gram Panchayat. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's cabinet has given clearance to fill up 7,216 vacancies at three levels of panchayats. At the Gram Panchayat level itself, there are a total of 6,652 vacancies in various posts including Gram Assistant, Construction Assistant, Gram Panchayat Worker and Panchayat Secretary. Block Information Officer, Clerk, Typist and Peon posts will be filled in 564 vacancies in Panchayat Samiti. Zila Parishad Assistant Engineer, Group D will also be filled for several vacancies.
Educational qualification
Educational qualifications for different posts are also different. Engineering Graduate Job Candidates can apply from 8th standard pass.
Age limit
Minimum age to apply for this post should be between 18-21. Maximum age should be 35-40 years. Reserved candidates will get age relaxation as per government norms.
