Head Teacher Recruitment: Good news for Head Teacher aspirants. Finally the process of appointment of head teachers in primary schools of Jalpaiguri has started. Interested teachers can submit their application forms in each circle office from February 27. This process will continue till March 6. After more than 10 years, 902 primary school headmaster vacancies in Jalpaiguri district will be filled.
In this regard, Parliament President Laikshya Mohan Roy said, “Head teacher panel will be formed according to seniority at the circle level. After that panel comes to the parliament, the head teacher will be appointed through counselling.”
Swapan Basak, district president of Jalpaiguri, West Bengal Trinamool Primary Teachers' Association expressed his gratitude again and said, "On behalf of the organization, we thank the Education Department, DPSC authorities for issuing the notification for the recruitment of head teachers."
The guidelines were issued on Friday. Interested teachers can submit their application forms in each circle office from February 27. It is said that this process will continue till March 6.
