Teacher Recruitment: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) on Wednesday announced the results of 7,355 more teacher candidates in various subjects of the second phase of the Teacher Recruitment Examination (TRE).  The examinations were conducted for recruitment to Education Department, Backward and Very Backward Classes Welfare Department and Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Welfare Department.


A total of 3,449 candidates were declared successful in classes 1 to 5, including 1,837 candidates for general subjects, 30 candidates for Bengali and 1,320 candidates for Urdu.  Additional 262 candidates have also cleared the general subject test under vacant posts from Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Welfare Department.  A total of 3,208 students have been declared passers in class 9 to 10, including 3,115 in Mathematics and 62 in Computer Science under the Education Department and 31 in Mathematics under the Welfare of Backward and Very Backward Classes category.


BPSC declared 204 candidates successful for Class 11-12, including 133 for Business Studies and 71 for Arabic.  For classes 6-8 under the Backward and Very Backward Classes Welfare category, 78 candidates have passed each in Mathematics and Science, Social Science and Languages ​​(English and Hindi).


Apart from this, 260 candidates were selected for special schools, including 44 for speech and language, 10 for specific learning disability, 14 for multiple disability, 87 for low vision, 16 for intellectual disability, 16 for hearing disability.  52, 6 for cerebral palsy, 28 for blindness and 3 for autism spectrum disorder.


So far, a total of 95,665 candidates have successfully cleared the exam.  At the same time, the counseling of successful candidates continued on Wednesday for all subjects in class 9-10.  Counseling for classes 11-12 will be held on Thursday.
