PhD Admission Presidency University: Good news for PhD aspirants. Presidency University has announced admission to Ph.D. Application process has started. This admission process is organized as per the University Grants Commission (UGC) 2016 Ph.D.
Number of subjects and seats
Admission will be taken in total 15 subjects including Bengali, English.
Educational qualification required
Applicants must possess 2 years MA or equivalent degree from a University / Institute recognized by UGC.
For General and OBC (NCL) candidates, minimum 55% marks and for SC/ST/Physically and Visually Impaired candidates, minimum 50% marks. It would be better to have a net or set side.
Application Process
Apply through online. Interested candidates should visit the university website-https://www.presiuniv.ac.in/web/ and fill the application form. After that, using the given application number, deposit 500 rupees as application fee. Candidates are required to submit a 500 word 'Research Proposal' for admission.

Application Submission Start: January 31, 2024
Last date for submission of application: 2nd February, 2024
Last date for submission of all documents to the University: February 20, 2024.
Interview/Written Test Schedule – Applicants will be intimated through email or through notice issued by the University.
