PhD Admission: Application for Ph.D. Programme in Science for the session 2023 2024 under Panskura Banamali College (Autonomous) Research Centre in Science Applications are invited online from eligible candidates for admission to Ph.D. Programme in Science (Mathematics-3, Zoology-2, Botany-3, Cemistry-8, Physics -4, Goegraphy 2, Economics 3) for the session 2023 2024 in Panskura Banamali College (Autonomous) Research Centre in Science.
The candidate will have to fill the application of the college form through online portal www.panskurabanamalicollege.ac.in. After successful completion of all the steps (filling in the personal details, academic details, uploading photo and signature) the candidate will have to pay Rs. 500/- only (plus convenience fee and GST, if application) as applicable fee for the Ph.D. programme through online mode of payment (credit / debit card, net banking etc.) only. The candidates are asked to follow the admission schedule for the same as follows:
• Applications will be received online from: 16.01.2024 to 03.02.2024
• Publication of list of valid applications: 06.02.2024
• Date of viva-voce: 16.02.2024
• Publication of provisional result: 23.02.2024
• Admission to Ph.D. programme: will be notified later
Eligibility criteria
A candidate having Master Degree in any one of the subjects Mathematics, Zoology, Botany, Chemistry, Physics, Geography and Economics or a degree deemed equivalent from any university or institution recognized by UGC or such other degree may be considered as sufficient condition if (s)he has obtained at least 55% (General category), 50% (SC, ST, PH, OBC-A, OBC-B, EWS categories) marks. Provided that
• A candidate who has completed at least a total of 5 years in UG and PG study in a recognized institution or university.
• The candidate who is not currently admitted as a student in any full time course of studies or registered for doing Ph.D. in any university.
