Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered the dismissal of many teachers who took jobs with fake documents. Not only this, these fake teachers should also be refunded.
According to the state administration, 382 teachers who took jobs with fake documents have been identified initially. Immediate action will be taken against this teacher. A large number of teachers recruited between 2006 and 2016 took up jobs with forged documents, the Uttar Pradesh police claimed. The investigating police identified 382 teachers in 48 districts of the state.
The district education department has already been directed to take action against such teachers. The ATS has been investigating corruption in the recruitment of teachers in Uttar Pradesh for the past five years. They claim that many have taken the jobs of teachers by showing fake marksheets, fake certificates and fake documents. Yogi Adityanath government has started work to catch fake teachers.
According to the administration, 85 teachers of Deoria district have been suspended. Another 52 such teachers have been identified from the district. Legal proceedings have also been initiated against them. Also 43 teachers from Mathura and 29 teachers from Siddharth Nagar have been identified. If found guilty, their jobs will be terminated and their salaries will have to be returned to the government.
Recently, the education department in Uttar Pradesh's Deoria sacked 85 teachers, causing an uproar in the entire department. This is not the first time, there have been reports of dismissal of many teachers in various districts of UP. In 2019 itself, SIT identified more than 4000 fake teachers across the state. About which information was given to the media by the then Basic Education Minister himself.
