Big News: 42 thousand 949 teacher recruitment panel to publish within 10 days

News desk: Justice Abhijit Gangopadhyay gave a big order in West Bengal primary teacher recruitment corruption case.  It has been directed to release the preliminary panel within 10 days.  This order of the court in view of a case related to primary teacher recruitment 2016.


Calcutta High Court Judge Justice Abhijit Gangopadhyay ordered to publish the recruitment panel of 42949 primary teachers within 10 days.  And if it has already been published, then its hard copy should also be submitted in the courtroom of Justice Gangopadhyay.


Today, Wednesday, a case related to the appointment of primary teachers in 2016 was heard in the High Court.  The case came up before the bench of Justice Abhijit Gangopadhyay.  The panel of TET 2016 was embroiled in several controversies.  A case was also filed in Calcutta High Court in this regard.  This order was given in one such case.


Justice Abhijit Gangopadhyay has ordered that the primary education board should publish the recruitment panel of 42 thousand 949 primary teachers within the next ten days.  And if the panel has already been published, the hard and soft copy of that panel should be submitted to the bench of Justice Abhijit Gangopadhyay by the Board of Primary Education.


A few job aspirants including Moutusi Roy filed a separate case in the Calcutta High Court demanding the publication of the panel of TET passers.  Moutusis claimed that they are also eligible for employment.  But as the merit list was not clear, he was not appointed.  In this situation, Justice Gangopadhyay directed the board to publish the panel of 42,949 job recipients within the next 10 days.  The next hearing of this case will be on January 15.


It should be noted that the primary teachers were appointed in 2016 on the basis of the primary TET examination which was conducted in 2014.  More than 42 thousand teachers were appointed in 2016.  There were many allegations of irregularities surrounding that appointment.  One case after another was filed in Calcutta High Court.
