Professor Recruitment: Jadavpur University has offered teaching opportunities in two engineering departments. Remuneration of those appointed as Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor will be Rs 1,44,200, Rs 1,31,400 and Rs 57,700 per month respectively. Jadavpur University has recently published a recruitment notification to provide teaching opportunities in the Faculty of Engineering. Offline application process has started for this.
Subjects and Vacancies
The two departments of engineering faculty of the university to be recruited are – Architecture and Construction Engineering. The departments will be staffed at the posts of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor. There are three vacancies.

Remuneration of those appointed as Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor will be Rs 1,44,200, Rs 1,31,400 and Rs 57,700 per month respectively.
Educational qualification
Eligibility criteria for applicants are prescribed for each post as per UGC (University Grants Commission) recognized norms/state government recognized norms. Candidates having specialization in certain subjects in two departments will be given priority in recruitment.

Interested candidates have to download the application form from the university website. For this, the unreserved and reserved categories have to deposit Tk 500 and Tk 250 as application fee respectively. After that the filled application form along with other necessary documents should be sent to the address mentioned in the notification. Last day of application is next 22 January.
