Assistant Professor Recruitment: Good news for job aspirants. Jadavpur University has released the recruitment circular for the posts of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor. Interested job candidates can apply.
Jadavpur University has started the application process for new recruitment in permanent vacancies and as guest faculty. Recruitment will be as per UGC/State Govt Rules. Last date of application is January 22, 2024. Interested job candidates can visit the official website of the university and download the application form.
Educational qualification
To apply for the post of Assistant Professor, one must have 55% marks (or Master's degree with equivalent grade in grading system) in the concerned / relevant subject from a UGC recognized university. In addition to fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have passed the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC or CSIR, or similar test, i.e. SLATE / SET. As per the new UGC rules, PhD degree holders will not need to pass NET/SET.

Application fee
Application fee for general category candidates is Rs.500. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC and PwBD have to pay a fee of Rs.250.
