After NIOS DElEd Judgement, What's The Future of West Bengal Current Teacher Recruitment Process

NIOS DELED CASE

NIOS DELED CASE: DELED job candidates from NIOS face a big blow in the Supreme Court.  The judgment and order passed by the Uttarakhand High Court on 14 September 2022 has been set aside, as a result of which DElEd job aspirants from NIOS will be excluded from primary teacher recruitment.  The Supreme Court also expressed surprise with the decision of the Patna High Court.  Why did NCTE not challenge this decision?  The highest court of the country raised the question.  The Supreme Court overturned the Uttarakhand High Court's order.

The Supreme Court has ruled that 18 months NIOS to D.EL.ED and 2 years D.EL.ED are not equivalent.  However, the Supreme Court said that an appeal can be made against this verdict.  After this order of the Supreme Court, the concern of the NIOS DELED job aspirants of West Bengal has increased.

D.EL.ED job aspirants from NIOS after TET participated in the current primary teacher recruitment process of the state West Bengal.  Whose interview process is already over.  The Supreme Court case is going on with this primary teacher recruitment process of more than eleven and a half thousand.  The court granted an interim stay on the appointment.

Now the question is whether D.EL.ED job candidates from NIOS of the state will get any opportunity in the current primary teacher recruitment process of West Bengal!  It is known that about 3 thousand job candidates have given interviews for the current primary teacher recruitment process.  The concern of these candidates has increased after the Supreme Court order.
