WBCSC: Breakage of marks not released, job seekers are desperate to see Assistant Professor vacancies

Assistant Professor recruitment

WBSSC: Result of Assistant Professor recruitment has been published.  After a long wait, the College Service Commission (WBCSC) released the merit list of several subjects on Friday.  Results of Political Science, History, Economics and Philosophy subjects have been declared.  However, the commission did not disclose the marks pattern for the current recruitment.

The merit list released by the College Service Commission but the breakdown of marks has not been published.  In this situation, there is going to be a court case to remove the panel including Marks.  Job seekers say all interviewed candidates have to disclose breakage of marks.

A job aspirant commented on this, “If the case is filed now, WBCSC will not be under pressure, otherwise it will continue.  I feel that there is a lot of corruption in the newly published panel panel, even though there are some qualified candidates.  We will immediately release the Merit List with Breakdown of Marks for entire candidates who need to make a case.  This government does not want to release every panel with marks, it has to be released by court case.  And the College Service Commission has been doing corruption.  If we don't take steps there, we will never fulfill our dream of college service."

Another job aspirant said about the panel, "When are you making a case against WBCSC? Only NET set got jobs, but those who did PhD didn't get jobs. This is unacceptable."

Desperate job aspirants see the recently published vacancies of several subjects.  This year's vacancies are much less than last time.  At least that seems to be the case given the final results of the few cases that have been released.  This time there are only 60 and 40 vacancies in subjects like history and philosophy for the post of assistant professor.  Which is less than half of last time.  As a result, job seekers are extremely desperate.

College Service Commission is conducting the recruitment process for Assistant Professors according to the advertisement of 2020.  According to the commission, about 33,000 applications have been submitted for the appointment of assistant professors.  The interview process for the recruitment of Assistant Professors for 45 subjects has already been completed.  The commission started the interview process from January 17 last year.
