News Desk: Good news for job seekers. Food Department is starting the recruitment process for the post of Sub-Inspector (Food SI). Public Service Commission (PSC) has already issued notification for this. The online application process for appearing for the recruitment test has started from Wednesday, August 23. Application for WBPSC FOOD SI exam has started from Wednesday. The last date of application is 20th September. Food Department has issued notification for the recruitment of Food SI (Food SI) for 509 vacancies.
Educational Qualification of WBPSC Food SI
Job aspirants must pass West Bengal Board of Secondary Education Secondary Examination or its equivalent. Applicants should have the ability to read, write and speak Bengali (not required for candidates whose mother tongue is Nepali). Must have good health and ability to work in rural areas of West Bengal.
Age
Applicant age should be between 18 to 40. But reserved category job candidates will get age relaxation.
Recruitment process
A written test of 100 marks will be conducted. Among them 50 marks are on general knowledge and current affairs. The remaining 50 marks were in Mathematics and General Intelligence. Successful candidates in written test will be called for interview.
Application Process
Aspirants can fill up the form on wbpsc.gov.in website from August 23. How many marks will be the exam, what will be the syllabus of the exam will be known in the next notification. Keep an eye on the official website of PSC.
