WBSSC: Four teachers have been arrested in recruitment corruption case. Four primary teachers had to go to jail on court orders even though CBI named them as witnesses. Sougat Mandal's mother Sandhya Mandal opened up about this. As soon as the accusation of buying a job came forward, the mother said, "We can't afford it!"
Saugata Mandal is a resident of Sankuria village in Navagram. He was a teacher at Madhunia Primary School in Navagram. He was arrested yesterday on the orders of the judge in the special CBI court in the teacher recruitment corruption case. Mother Sandhya Mandal says, "Where can we afford to pay, son got a job after passing the exam." The mother claims, "I don't believe that the son has committed corruption. Where do we have the ability to buy jobs with money?" The mother claims that she cannot afford to pay. Son got job after passing exam.
According to CBI sources, Saugata Mandal gave Rs. 5 lakh and 50 thousand. Saigal Hossain 6 lakhs. Simar Hossain gave Rs.5 lakhs. Zahiruddin Sheikh gave 5 lakh 50 thousand rupees. Besides, the chargesheet also names another teacher who paid Rs.
This is not the end, more sensational information has come to light. According to CBI sources, Tapas Mondal withdrew money from a total of 136 job seekers through eight agents, amounting to RS 3 crore 89 lakh 85 thousand.
From various influential leaders to ministers, multiple arrests have taken place in the teacher recruitment case. However, no teacher has been arrested before. The four arrested teachers have been sent to jail for 14 days. That is, the next hearing will be kept in their Presidency Correctional Facility till August 21
Jobeda, the mother of the employed teacher Zahiruddin Sheikh, says, "I can't say whether anyone has been paid for the job or not." And why the arrest? A person from the neighborhood came and said that Zahir was jailed from the court! Who was given the money, how the job was done, I can't say anything. When he got the job, his father died a few days before. My head was not right then. But if corruption has happened, my son did not do it alone! And where is the punishment for the rest?''
Zahiruddin's mother claims, why should her son suffer the punishment alone for that fault. Many teachers are accused of getting jobs with money. Where is their punishment? Zahiruddin used to teach at Navagram Kusum Kamini Primary School in Murshidabad. On Monday, on the orders of Judge Arpan Chattopadhyay, he was lodged in the Presidency correctional facility along with three other primary teachers of the district.
