Head teacher with only four hundred rupees! Will the case again? Dissatisfied teachers, how will the merit list be

primary school Head Teacher

News desk: There has been a change in the rules for the appointment of primary school Head Teachers.  The rules of the left era have been brought back.  That is, district school inspectors will approve the appointment of primary school head teachers from now.  This has also been informed by issuing a notification.  This time, detailed information about the recruitment of primary school principals in the state has been released.  After more than five years, head teachers are being appointed in the state.  The recruitment process of headmasters was finalized in a board meeting in Kolkata on July 31 in the presence of all DPSC chairmen and DIs.

Teachers' organizations have been agitating for the appointment of head teachers for a long time.  2019 ROPA or the revised pay scale of the state announced only Rs 400 per month financial benefit for the post of primary school head teacher.  Since then, assistant teachers and organizations have virtually lost interest in the post of head teacher.

In the words of Bhaskar Ghosh, state secretary of Usthi United Teachers Welfare Association, a non-political teacher's organization that has recently come to the fore due to the hunger strike on the DA case, the main purpose of the complex process announced to give temporary financial benefits of only four hundred rupees is to give an opportunity to the case.  These are just excuses for not hiring.  First of all, a legal battle needs to be started on the financial deprivation of the post of primary school headmaster.

Head teachers will be appointed on the basis of merit.  There is a change in the method of appointing head teachers in primary schools.  The sum total of marks for evaluation of an applicant aspiring to be a Head Teacher is 100 marks.  Minimum qualifying marks is 60.  That means a candidate should get minimum 60 marks.  Details have already been given about the process of appointment of head teachers in primary.  The concerned DPSC will prepare the merit list.  Circle wise merit list will be prepared.  Then the District Primary Education Council (DPSC) will complete the counseling process and the appointment will be made to the post of Head Teacher.
