Judge Arpan Chatterjee called the court and ordered the jail custody. The 4 arrested teachers are from Murshidabad. They have been sent to the Presidency Jail. The judge sent him to jail for 14 days. This is the first time ineligible teachers have been arrested for recruitment corruption.
4 teachers were named as witnesses in CBI's charge sheet. But why name as a witness in the charge sheet? asked the judge. After which the judge ordered the arrest of four ineligible teachers Zahiruddin Sheikh, Saigal Hossain, Simar Hossain and Sougat Mondal.
Before this, the two central investigative agencies, CBI and ED, had to face the court fire several times. The court's question was, how many people have been arrested who got jobs illegally? Sometimes in the lower court, sometimes in the high court, the ED, CBI have to be heard on this question. Their lawyers admit that it takes time to identify such teachers. Many are being identified and questioned. The whole process is time consuming. The court said that those teachers should be arrested immediately.
