WBSSC: It is known that Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy has given his stamp of approval for the filling of 3,295 teaching posts in universities and triple ITs in Andhra Pradesh. It has been clarified that in order to provide quality higher education to the students, the eligibility criteria should be strictly followed in the appointments of teaching staff.
Assistant Professor Recruitment
In addition to 2,635 assistant professors, associate professors and professor posts in universities, 660 lecturers, assistant professors, associate professors and professor posts in triple IT have been proposed by the officials and ordered to be done in one recruitment. In this regard, the APPSC notification will be issued on August 23 and the plan is to complete the entire recruitment process by the end of November.

CM Jagan had a long discussion with the authorities on the schedule and examination procedure for filling up the teaching posts in the universities. Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) approved the filling of the posts. Notification for filling up 3,295 teaching posts in Universities and Triple IT will be released on 23rd August. The exams will be conducted online in the 3rd and 4th weeks of September. It has been decided to announce the results by October 10 and conduct the interviews within a month after that. The CM ordered to complete the entire recruitment process by the end of November.
CM Jagan mentioned in the meeting that 51,000 posts have already been filled in the Health Department and earlier the appointments of 1.30 lakh village and ward secretariat employees have been completed on time without any errors. In a similar manner, the officials were directed to take up the appointments of teachers in the universities in a fast and efficient manner. They want to fill the posts on the basis of one hundred percent merit. CM Jagan decided to give maximum weightage of 10 marks per year to those who are working under contract system till now and it has been decided to allocate it during the interview.
