Abnormal in the appointment of teachers! Many teachers did not submit the affidavit fearing job loss

WBSSC: Many teachers did not affidavit for fear of job loss!  Affidavits were being taken from the teachers on the orders of the Calcutta High Court when there were allegations of irregularities in the appointment of teachers in East Medinipur district.  Although it is known that many teachers have not submitted it.

The notification for the recruitment of teachers in East Medinipur was issued in 2009.  However, after the assembly polls in 2011, the entire process was allegedly thwarted.  is  Next year i.e. in 2012 the recruitment process started again.  A selection committee of 11 people was formed.  Also interview board is also created.  There were about 35 members.

Surprisingly, more than 50 percent of the two committees are ruling party leaders.  Some of them have now switched camps and joined the BJP.  As a result, there were allegations of political interference in the government recruitment process.  What's more, many of the people in charge of selection committees and interviews also got jobs.  It is out of order.  So the question has been raised about the entire panel.

Calcutta High Court Justice Abhijit Gangopadhyay issued several orders after receiving complaints of irregularities in the 2012 recruitment of primary teachers in East Medinipur district.  One of them is the order to collect affidavits from teachers.  It is said that in that affidavit, it should be stated whether any relatives of the teachers were in the interview board or not.

It is known that many teachers have not submitted the affidavit.  Many of them did not collect proforma of affidavit from SI office.  In this situation, the pressure is increasing on the district administration and school inspector office.  After all the affidavits are submitted, they will be handed over to the inquiry committee.  The commissioner of school education department will come to Tamluk again next week.

District Primary Education Sangsad President Hajibur Rahman said, 'No more affidavits will be taken at the police station.  The copy will be taken at SI office instead of police station.  Most of the teachers have submitted affidavits.  A quick copy will be taken from the rest.  After that, those copies will be handed over to the investigation committee.
