The Supreme Court has given strict instructions to the High Court in the recruitment case of 32 thousand primary teachers

 Supreme Court

WBSSC: Supreme Court, the highest court of the country, gave strict instructions to Calcutta High Court in the recruitment case of 32 thousand primary teachers.  The Supreme Court ordered the immediate settlement of this case.  The West Bengal Board of Primary Education has appealed to the Supreme Court for 32,000 teachers.  In view of that plea, the apex court bench of Justice JK Maheshwari and Justice KV Viswanathan said on Monday that there is no change in the earlier order.  Earlier, what was ordered on July 7, the same is being given today.  But Calcutta High Court has to settle this case as soon as possible.

Earlier, some of the unemployed people came to the Supreme Court on the orders of the High Court.  Now that is what the West Bengal Board of Primary Education has come up with.  As a result of this order of the Supreme Court, 32,000 assistant teachers who got jobs in 2017 are not getting jobs for now.

But everything depends on the verdict of Calcutta High Court.  What happens in the hearing of the High Court must be initially accepted.  However, if the verdict is not to their liking, the teachers have the opportunity to come to the Supreme Court again, says a group of lawyers.

Incidentally, Justice Abhijit Gangopadhyay initially ordered the cancellation of the jobs of 32,000 assistant teachers.  Later the Division Bench also gave a similar judgment.  However, the same two-judge bench of the Supreme Court rejected the order given by the Calcutta High Court on July 7.  The case was again sent back to the High Court.
