WBSSC: Good news for job seekers. Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released a notification to fill the vacancies for the post of Junior Engineer (JE). Last date to apply is August 16. Central government departments, Central Public Works Department (CPWD), Military Engineer Services (MES), Border Roads Organization (BRO) and various other departments are recruiting for 1,324 posts.

Application fee
Applicants have to pay Rs.100 as application fee.
Applicants belonging to SC/ST/PWD category are exempted from payment of application fee.

Age criteria
Minimum age for application is 18 years and maximum age allowed is 32 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per government policy. Candidates are advised to visit the official website for more details.
Educational qualification
Applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E. or B.Tech.) from a recognized university. Engineering disciplines include civil, electrical, mechanical, quantity surveying and contracting.
