SSC: According to supreme court SSC publishes list of 907 picked for teaching posts

WBSSC: The School Services Commission published on its website on Thursday the names of the 907 candidates selected for the posts of teachers for grades XI and XII pursuant to the Supreme Court's July 25 order. SSC did not publish its OMR form as SC complied with the July 7 HC order directing it to publish the names and OMR form by July 21. Judge Abhijit Gangopadhyay passed the order following a petition filed by Babita Sarkar.

Judge Gangopadhyay ordered the release of the OMR sheets of the selected candidates after the CBI report found that the OMR sheets of 907 candidates had been tampered with. The agency found many test-takers improved their grades from 1 to 50 points. Of the 907 candidates selected, most received letters of appointment. Soon after the 907's name was announced, SSC was embroiled in a legal battle. Saka's lawyer, Firdous Shamim, filed a complaint at the Gangopadhyay Court, complaining that the SSC's statement in the HC was "inconsistent with that of the Supreme Court". The counsel provided HC with a recorded version of SSC's Supreme Court briefing. Shamim claimed there was a "double standard" and complained that SSC's lawyers had submitted to the Supreme Court that there was no discrepancy between the OMR form and the endnote, and that he had allegedly submitted the OMR form to the SC in a sealed envelope.

Extreme corruption in SSC recruitment, statistics came out!  Group C, Group-D, 9th-10th, 11th-12th have not seen the calculations

Judge Gangopadhyay, after hearing the recording request, ordered SSC counsel Sutanu Patra to summon the SSC chairman to appear in court at 4:00 pm. Patra asked to appear in person one day. The HC directed the chairman to file an affidavit stating whether the SSC conceded these failures in the Supreme Court out of fear or pressure. Judge Gangopadhay addressed the matter at a hearing on Friday.
