WBSSC: The suspension of teacher recruitment has fallen again. This time there was an interim suspension in the recruitment of primary teachers. The Supreme Court, the highest court of the country, has suspended the current primary teacher recruitment process of West Bengal.

Due to the 2020-22 D.EL.ED/B.Ed. case, the Supreme Court suspended the recruitment of primary teachers in the current 11,500 vacancies. As a result, the primary education board has to stop the recruitment of primary teachers for the time being.
A bench of Justice Hima Kuheli, Justice Rajesh Bindal of the Supreme Court gave a verdict in this regard on Friday. It is learned that this judgment will remain in force until further orders. The interview for the current primary teacher recruitment is over. The Board of Primary Education was struggling to release the results quickly. In the meantime, the Supreme Court has given this interim stay. As a result, it can be said that the wait for job seekers will increase.
The division bench of Calcutta High Court Justice Subrata Talukdar ordered that the trainees of the academic year 2020-22 cannot participate in the recruitment process. Justice Abhijit Gangopadhyay gave opportunity to these candidates. A division bench of the Supreme Court headed by Justice Rajesh Bindal issued an interim stay on the direction of the division bench of Justice Subrata Talukder. The recruitment process will be suspended for the time being. The Supreme Court will judge this issue in the coming days.
